Effective as of 1/1/08

Parts purchased from Thunder Works will be replaced free of charge, in the case of a manufacturing defect. Free replacement does NOT apply to ripple-effect failure of further parts, or failure of the assembly/machining caused by that failed part's manufacturing defect. The manufacturer only guarantees (to us) replacement of their own part caused by its own defect, and does not reimburse us (or anyone else) for further damage.

1. Thunder Works Engine Machine (or a source APPROVED BY Thunder Works) will make the determination of whether a part failed due to defect or another issue. 

Stock (OEM-spec'd) complete (Long Block) engines assembled by Thunder Works are covered for twelve (12) months (calendar days, starting from date of invoice). 

EXCLUSIONS: 

Thunder Works does not warranty Racing, High Performance (non-OEM) Street, Marine, Off-road, or Modified applications. Thunder Works cannot and does not cover combinations that rate as experimental.

Special Note: Thunder Works NO LONGER warranties marine engines, 'stock' or not. Engines used in boats were originally designed for automotive applications and therefore are being used in a non-OEM capacity.

a)    Thunder Works will NOT pay another business or individual to perform work or supply parts to cover our warranty without our having approved such, PRIOR to anything being done.

b)    This warranty does NOT cover problems caused by improper installation, break-in, or tuning.

c)    Any engine involved in an accident will NOT be warranted on labor or parts. This applies to any and all supposed pre-existing conditions, part issues, etc. Accidents void all warranties.

In case of an issue covered by warranty, Thunder Works will NOT reimburse you for a rental car, pay for your ‘ruined’ vacation  or cover anything else you think you’re owed.

In doing business with Thunder Works, you agree to settle any unresolved disputes by arbitration. Arbitration will be binding on all parties and will be used to finalize all disputes with no further litigation. If a customer truly feels he/she has a valid dispute that Thunder Works can’t/won’t/doesn’t fix, arbitration is the fastest, fairest, and most logical way to FULLY resolve things.
